Housing

Starting your college career close to home doesn’t mean that living at home is your only option. At Kilgore College, both domestic and international applicants have housing options close to campus.

Residence Hall. Live in a secure, fully-furnished apartment-style residence hall with students from around the world. Enjoy the experience of on-campus living by taking part in residence life activities and the convenience of being only steps away from class.

Arrival Services. (For international students.) Students coming from a different country are welcomed warmly with airport pickup, student orientation, and one-on-one advisor meetings.

Apartment. There are many apartment options near campus. Students arrange for apartment housing independently. We recommend that international students first stay in a homestay or residence hall prior to living in apartments.

Academic Pathways & Courses

The following presents an example of the coursework you might take as you pursue an Associate’s Degree through American Honors. Most American Honors programs require that 40% of your credits come from Honors courses.

Individual student curricula will vary based on their intended degree path. For example, if you are interested in the health sciences you would take Biology courses instead of Physics courses to satisfy your science requirements.
