Start at Pierce...
Seattle, Washington is just 45 minutes from the Pierce College campuses. As the gateway to the Pacific Northwest, this area is famous for its mild climate, beautiful views of Mount Rainier, futuristic Space Needle, coffee houses, and indie music scene. At the center of it all is the great outdoors. You can enjoy kayaking, sailing, hiking, and biking in national parks or orca watching in Puget Sound. But it’s not all about the outdoors! Discover the city’s eclectic boutiques and retail stores, and an exciting nightlife filled with great food, live music, theatre, and art.
Graduates of American Honors have unlimited options for where they’ll go next. Our network of four-year colleges and universities extends from coast to coast, including institutions such as University of Puget Sound and Ohio State University. Student Clubs & Organizations
The International Student Club makes it easy to connect with American and international students from around the world during field trips, game nights and community service projects.
Other campus clubs host dances, film screenings and other social activities. There’s always something fun to do at Pierce.
Starting your college career close to home doesn’t mean that living at home is your only option. At Pierce, both domestic and international applicants have housing options close to campus.
Homestay. (For international students.) Live with an American family and enjoy a fully furnished private room with three meals a day and bus transportation to campus. Homestays are generally located within 45 minutes of campus and convenient to public transportation.
Single Room. Rent a private furnished room in the home of a local family. Accommodations include access to bathroom facilities and the family kitchen where you can prepare your own meals. Single rooms are generally located within 45 minutes of campus and convenient to public transportation
Apartment. There are many apartments near campus. However, we do not make specific placement arrangements. We recommend that international students first live in a temporary homestay, then choose an apartment when you are familiar with the area.
