I grew up in Spokane, Washington, where I graduated from Lewis and Clark H.S. I attended the University of Washington in Seattle where I received my Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees in Mathematics. Upon graduation from the University of Washington, I taught Mathematics at Gonzaga University for 5 years. After that, I taught Mathematics and Physics at Spokane Community College for 6 years. At that time I transferred to Spokane Falls Community College where I continue to teach Mathematics. Courses that I have taught include Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Linear Algebra, Multi-variable Calculus, Differential Equations, Finite Math, Math for Elementary Education, and Math in Society. I am married with two daughters and three grandchildren.
