Biography & Education: I grew up in Alabama, where I attended the Alabama School of Fine Arts in the Math and Science program. I went to college at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, studied Mathematics after initially pursuing engineering, and graduated in 2001. I went on to graduate school at Auburn University, where I learned to love college football (War Eagle) and craft beer while earning my Master of Applied Mathematics (2003) and PhD in Mathematics (2006). I moved to Indianapolis when I got married and started teaching at Ivy Tech soon afterward. My hobbies include knitting, triathlon training, and spending every weekend in May at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
