Biography: After earning a BS in Chemistry from the University of Toledo, Mr. Cleveland began a twenty plus year career in the chemical, plastics and paint industries holding positions in R&D, Operations, and Sales/Marketing. During this time of his life, he pursued graduate level education in business management from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. He also attended specialized executive training courses at Lehigh University, Princeton University and the University of Michigan. Anthony redirected his career by enrolling at the Michigan campus of Moody Theological Seminary where he studied Theology and Clinical Psychology. Upon graduation he worked as a clinician conducting individual and group psychotherapy in a variety of settings. In January of 2002, Professor Cleveland began his career as an educator at Jackson Community College where he is currently serving as lead faculty in Psychology for the Behavior Science department. He has been nominated numerous times for the J. Ward Preston Outstanding Faculty Award and was the recipient of the award in 2012. Anthony and his wife of 40 years have two daughters and two grandchildren.
