As an undergraduate student enrolled at the Maine College of Art, I earned a BFA in Printmaking but engaged in a wide variety of studio practices. To this day, my studio practice is diverse and integrates printmaking, photography, drawing, and ceramics. As a master's student at Hollins University in Virginia, the coursework indulged my passion for academic research, and I was allowed to continue my exploration of art history by completing a thesis paper on the international and historical valuation of ancient African art. Eleven years ago, my passion for the liberal arts segued into a career as an instructor of Art History and the Humanities at a post-secondary level. I am honored and excited to work with students enrolled in the American Honors program, as the program's rigor and high-mindedness parallel my own dedication to the field.
