What do I need to know about placement testing?

As an American Honors student, we need you to complete your testing and to place into:

  • English 101: English Composition I
  • Math 108: College Algebra (minimum)

As a reminder, if you do not place into the required courses specified above, you may need to take a summer course to maintain your eligibility in the program.

SCC - There are limited testing spots open at SCC, so we encourage you to sign up as soon as possible. 

SFCC - To reserve your testing spot at SFCC:

  1. Sign up with the SFCC testing center
  2. Pay the $30 fee at the cashier’s office in Building 17, Lower Concourse (next to Admissions).
  3. Get a math activation code: Bring your receipt to the testing center or email SFCCtesting_ctr@spokanefalls.edu.
  4. Take the test on your specified AH-only testing date. Keep your receipt and bring it with you when you take the test in Building 17 - Room 140
