The accountability. It’s motivating to be among a cohort, faculty, and an advisor that believe in my big dreams, and see to it through check-ups that everything is on track. 

A Bit About McDaniel

I’m a proud Mapsoian; meaning I’m from communities of Maplewood-South Orange in New Jersey. If you find me on my downtime, I’m practically always listening to music, and/or recording in my humble home studio. I briefly wet my feet in acting and comedy my last year of high school, which was a COMPLETELY different face from what people knew me, as I competed in football and wrestling on a varsity level. I ran track and played lacrosse as well, but put sports aside altogether to focus on academics and music. In the not so distant future, I’m hoping to have my hand in reforming and bettering education, especially in impoverished communities. Also to make art that collectively speaks to increasing empathy with those that may be outside of our comfort zones.
